The BitRage CR45-A is a wireless carrier-class 5.8 GHz U-NII band clear-channel DS-3 radio system that delivers actual throughput of 45 Mbps full duplex.

The CR45-A provides a cost-effective solution for high-speed backhaul and bandwidth-rich enterprise applications without the delay and expense of licensed microwave, invasive fiber trenching or the significant recurring cost of leased lines.

The proprietary BitRage Digital Signal Processor (DSP) technology provides extremely reliable error-free transmission even in the noisiest RF environment without utilizing the extensive overhead of Forward Error Correction (FEC). This enables the CR45-A to deliver the entire 45 Mbps, which is especially important for latency-intolerant applications such as ASP data, voice and broadcast quality video transmission.

The BitRage CR45-A is a plug and play system, which allows for easy installation and virtually no maintenance. The CR45-A will operate up to 35 miles point to point and may be used in repeater links with delays of less than 1 millisecond between links. Features including digital readouts on the Outdoor Unit (ODU) and Indoor Unit (IDU) and no configuration make the CR45-A ideal for customers who need a fast, extremely reliable solution without waiting for fiber right-of-ways, licensing issues or leased line installation. It is easily re-deployable for temporary, disaster relief and evolving network applications.
